Dj Khaled Lose Weight
Like a lot of guys, DJ Khaled started off 2018 with the resolution to slim down. His Major Key for this was Weight Watchers, and so far, it's working: he lost one pound. Then another one. And… another one.
“Man. Weight Watchers is going good, ” Khaled told Page Six about the new lifestyle program he both started in December and began repping on New Year’s Day. “The freestyle program is doing real big. It’s a real lifestyle because all you have to do is not go over your point [total]. And there are so many zero points [foods] in case you get hungry. I got the freestyle dance.”

Khaled's never been shy about making his life public, and an Instagram video he posted on January 21 has some details. He's chatting with his personal Weight Watchers coach about his progress, noting that he's down to 266.4 pounds, after starting at 293.

But catchphrases aside, Khaled's made some serious progress. He also notes in the video that he weighed 272.2 on January 5, which mean's he's down another 6 pounds or so in the past few weeks.
I'm not in any race to get rid of weight, he said in another Instagram post. I just want to make sure I stay super focused and continue at being healthy.
If you're looking to drop a few pounds with an easy-to-follow plan, Weight Watchers may actually be a good way to go. As
Dj Khaled's Weight Loss: Before & After Pics
Previously explained, Khaled’s freestyle program and other programs under the Weight Watchers system assign points to different foods, so you don't have to count calories or stick to one regimented diet. The only thing you have to do is stay within your points limit and you’ll likely see change.
The only risk with commercial diet plans is actually keeping the weight off weeks, months and years down the road. Studies show dieters often have a difficult time transitioning from a weight-loss plan to a full-fledged healthy lifestyle. Though, according to at least one study, Weight Watchers may be one of the few plans to buck this trend. In a 2015 study published in the American Public Health Association, pre-diabetics were able to lose 6 percent of their body fat in six months using the plan. They were all able to maintain that weight loss a year later.
So yeah, there’s hope for Khaled, but here’s our Major Key Alert for him: Make sure to pair this new diet with an equally healthy exercise regime. Pairing the two will help you kick things up a notch with weight loss, and help protect your heart in totally different ways than food alone.

And whether it’s hilariously chronicling jet ski misadventures on Snapchat or conquering the zeitgeist with a seemingly endless stream of motivational catchphrases, DJ Khaled has always been larger than life.

But until recently, the hip-hop multi-hyphenate was also larger—physically—than he wanted to be. Enter WW, the new Weight Watchers, who partnered with Khaled at the end of 2017 and began formally showcasing his weight loss journey as the company’s official social media ambassador on New Year’s Day 2018.
Khaled weighed 293 pounds at the start of the Freestyle program, which assigns different points to different foods and sets a daily points limit. Earlier this year, he shared on Instagram that after one year on the program, he’d dropped 43 pounds, bringing him down to his original goal of 250 pounds.

He also says he’s blessed to have a personal chef, Melissa Zuniga, who lives with Khaled and his family full-time and whose culinary creations regularly pop up in his videos on social media.

Khaled spends a lot of the time road playing shows and promoting his various projects and businesses, which means he doesn’t always have Zuniga to fall back on when it’s time to eat. But he insists having a good foundation at home in terms of eating habits has translated to smarter eating on the road.

If I’m not listening to music, I’m on a conference call handling my business or running my company on my phone. It makes time go by faster.”
And while Khaled’s savviness on social media allowed him to better connect with fans of his music, sharing his weight loss journey online has been a major motivator, particularly for helping him feel like he’s a part of a greater WW community. He says he’s met countless people on the road who have asked him about his lifestyle change, and shared that it inspired their own.
